New York City-Veteran OD rockers, Bad Habits “The EyeDocs of Rock,” are planning a night of music and entertainment for fellow International Vision Expo attendees from 9 pm to 1 am Friday, March 28, 2014. The concert will be held at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill, located near Times Square at 237 W. 42nd St. in New York City.

The theme of event is “Technology Rocks!” and is sponsored by Vision Source, along with several technology minded companies including BluTech, Costa Rx, Demandforce, Essilor, and MacuHealth.

“In addition to the traditional evening of music, fellowship, and social networking, the band plans to create an interactive concert,” says band front man Dr. Michael “Jules” Raies. “We are planning to have an audience response system on hand that night, so the crowd can choose the next song they want to hear and vote for it from the dance floor with handheld clickers. The winning response gets displayed instantly and the band performs that song next. Now that’s what I mean when I say, ‘Technology Rocks!’”

Wristbands for the main event will be available at no charge by visiting one of the sponsors’ booths in the Exhibit Hall at the Javits Center on Friday, March 28 during International Vision Expo. T-shirts will be given out at the sponsors’ booths and during the concert while supplies last. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early when the doors open at 9 pm because the sponsors are hosting an open bar from 9 pm to 10 pm, with light hors d’oeuvres served throughout the night.
