Fort Worth, TX-Alcon says it is looking to “transform eye care” as it adds a new member to its leadership team.

The company appointed Carla Mack, OD, MBA, FAAO, as director of professional and clinical support for U.S. Vision Care. Dr. Mack has nearly 20 years of experience in clinical practice, academia, research, and commercial eye care. In her new role, she will provide clinical and technical expertise, and help set the company’s professional communications strategy.

“Our purpose at Alcon is to transform eye care,” says Jim Murphy, vice president and general manager of U.S. Vision Care. “We need to bring key opinion leaders, like Carla Mack, into our organization to help us understand the professional and patient experience from every perspective.”
