ClearVision offers education on children’s optical business

Hauppauge, NY-ClearVision Optical recently introduced two formats to provide education for success in the children’s optical business.

According to ClearVision, its educational training video series, Success in the Kids Business, and Beyond the Brand, a short magazine are now available at cvoptical.com/kidsbiz. 

Beginning with an introduction to its 2014 Kids Collection, the Success in the Kids Business video series includes three additional, educational video shorts, including:

Boss Orange eyewear introduces Fall/Winter 2014collection

BO 0181Boss Orange introduces its eyewear collection for Fall/Winter 2014 featuring the triangle hinge, a colored rubber insert, interpreted in a new reversed version.

The women’s frame, BO 0181, is a slightly squared acetate shape. The rubber detail on the hinge comes in colors such as fuchsia or aqua, standing out on the hues of havana/blue, havana/rust, havana/fuchsia, or matte black.

BO 0180 is an acetate optical frame with a classic squared silhouette and a vintage touch underlined by the key bridge on the nose shape. The color palette includes spotted honey, khaki Havana, or transparent gray with orange, blue, green, or yellow rubber triangle detail.

Carrera 5020/SCarrera introduces fall/winter collection

Carrera recently introduces its Fall/Winter 2014/2015 collection featuring both sunglasses and optical frames.

Carrera 5019/S is a sunglasses frame with a softly rounded silhouette in Optyl, an ultra-lightweight high-tech material. The model has the brand’s trapezoid-shaped Victory C logo on the inside of the geometric temples and features rubber temple tips.

Multi-layer polycarbonate mirrored lenses are matched with feminine color combos: white/lilac with red lenses; black-lime with gray lenses; Havana-gold with gray-ivory lenses; brown-aqua green with brown lenses; burgundy-ivory with multicolored lenses; and purple-orange with khaki mirrored lenses.

Carrera 5020/S is a steel sheet metal sunglasses frame with a large, rectangular front. The temple tips are color-matched with the mirrored lenses.

Carrera 92/SThe color palette includes: black with copper lenses; petrol blue with yellow lenses; blue with red lenses; burgundy with multicolored blue lenses; brown with gray lenses; and ruthenium with multicolored lenses.

Carrera 92/S is a bitoric wraparound sunglasses frame with two toric nylon lenses that seamlessly blend together in the center. These sunglasses offer a wide field of view, including maximized peripheral fields, and provide crisp vision and high protection from UV rays.

Carrera’s latest unisex optical frames, Carrera 5526, have a slim steel rectangular front combined with flat temples with the brand’s printed logo. This frame features colorful plastic tips available in matte tones of ruthenium, blue, brown, and black.

REM Eyewear releases Fall 2014 Converse Jack Purcell collection

P009Sun Valley, CA-REM Eyewear recently announced the Fall 2014 launch of Converse Jack Purcell Eyewear collection.

P009 has a thin profile and features star rivet hinges and a laser-engraved wire core on the temples. It is available in matte black, brown, and dark gunmetal.

 

 

 

P010P010 is a vintage frame with a laser line grip pattern and the signature Jack Purcell logo on the temple tips. It is available in black, brown, and brushed gunmetal.

 

 

 

P011P011 features star rivet hinges and laser-engraved wire core on the temples, and an inlaid metal Jack Purcell logo on the outside of temple tips. It is available in black, brown horn, and crystal.

 

 

 

P012P012 is crafted from acetate in a classic modified square shape with custom star hinge detailing on front and temple, and the Jack Purcell logo located on outside. It is available in black stripe; brown horn, and Tokyo tortoise.

 

 

Krewe releases new sunglasses styles

BanksNew Orleans-New Orleans-based eyewear company Krewe recently released a number of new sunglasses styles inspired by the city it calls home.

Banks, seen above, features a matte tortoise acetate frame with gradient amber lenses and matte gold metal hardware. This style is also available in black and gunmetal with dark grey lenses; white lavender with gradient lavender lenses; and Tokyo tortoise with gradient stone blue lenses.

 

 

 

CharlesCharles, seen above, is a matte tortoise frame with gradient amber lenses. This style is also available in honey and dark brown tortoise with purple and blue iridescent mirrored lenses or dark blue polarized lenses; matte clear face with wood grain arms and grey lenses; and matte black with green and blue iridescent mirrored lenses.

 

 

 

 

MonroeMonroe, seen above, is a marbled sunset acetate frame with polarized gradient dark blue lenses and brushed gold hardware. This style is also available in matte red tortoise with dark red lenses; black acetate with polarized dark grey lenses; and matte semi-translucent green-blue acetate with gradient blue lenses.
