"This creates one central and powerful online recruiting portal for all eyecare professionals," says Brad McCorkle, founder of Local Eye Site about the EyeBuzz acquisition.

Raleigh, NC-Local Eye Site (LES) has acquired EyeBuzz, a leader in online job search and recruitment for ophthalmic technicians, nurses, and assistants. Founder of EyeBuzz, Jane Shuman, a specialist in consulting and training for ophthalmic clinics, voiced her support for the move to build a single source for online job search and recruitment in eyecare.

Brad McCorkle, founder of LES, said: "Since 2007, LES has been dedicated to connecting the eyecare industry in order to create one central and powerful online recruiting portal for all eyecare professionals. Jane Shuman is one of the most respected voices in the ophthalmic industry, so it was important to us that EyeBuzz become part of the LES Power Network."

Shuman added: "I am pleased that EyeBuzz has been acquired by Local Eye Site. We both share the vision of one online resource for positions in the eyecare industry. This acquisition will help us attain that goal."
