Brianna Rhue, OD, FAAO, FSLS:
Hi, everyone, Dr. Brianna Rhue here. I'm a private practice optometrist here in South Florida, as well as one of the cofounders of Dr. Contact Lens. If you've not heard about Dr. Contact Lens, we recommend that you check us out so we can learn more about your practice.

So what is Dr. Contact Lens? Jenn [Tabiza] and I built this out of a need out of our own practice where we were seeing patients day in and day out; they were telling us this is the best eye exam that they've ever had, and then they would walk out the door. So we were doing all the heavy lifting, but then the patient—essentially with the FTC rule, we have to give them a paper copy of their prescription. We wanted to digitize this.

So what Dr. Contact Lens does is it integrates with your electronic medical record to make it one system, one process, one way of ordering for both your staff and your patients. So you can see who never ordered from you, who's due to reorder from you, and who's due to come back and see you. And 9 times out of 10 if that patients walking, so if your capture rate is 70% and 30% of your patients are walking out of the door, 9 times out of 10, with the Dr. Contact Lens method and the process, those patients will end up ordering from you. So we're really seeing it from that patient, consumer side to really help you close that care loop with your patients. You're doing, again, seeing the patient checking them and taking great care of their eye health, but we're not closing that loop back with that prescription. And that's really the value that you're adding to your patient by using Dr. Contact Lens and not giving them homework.

I constantly am looking for different processes. So when you're going into the business side of optometry, it really comes down to process and to people in order for you to take care of those patients that are taking care of your clinics. So what Dr. Contact Lens does is it helps free up a substantial amount of staff time for contact lens ordering.

We are an agnostic platform. So it's all brands, all lenses that you're fitting, helps you with reporting, helps you understand your patient information. So when we're going to different platforms, we're actually giving valuable patient data away that could be used later on. So it's all about you mining the hard work and energy that you're doing and getting your staff doing better things with their time versus a 28-step process. So really, it's a marketing tool. It's an ordering platform. We have that process that we help you with customer success managers to help take your practice to the next level. So you can visit us at drcontactlens.com to learn more and happy to share a demo.
