Mark T. Dunbar, OD, FAAO, director of Optometric Services at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, offers a look at what attendees can expect from Vision Expo East's high-stakes competition "March Madness: Case challenges in optometry."

The competition kicks off Thursday (March 31) with a workshop followed by panelist case presentations (moderated by Dr. Dunbar) highlighting imaging technology.

Panelists include: Julie Rodman, OD; Mohammad Rafieetary, OD, FAAO; Steven Ferucci, OD; Brad Sutton, OD; Carolyn Majcher, OD; Jay Haynie, OD; Joseph Pizzimenti, OD; and Sherrol Reynolds, OD.

The schedule is as follows:
