Rancho Cordova, CA-Superior Vision, a vision benefits company, has signed an agreement with Costco Optical to join Superior’s eyecare provider network. Members will be able to visit Costco Optical locations for their benefits beginning early 2014.

Costco Optical’s 437 locations nationwide provide frames, prescription lenses, and contact lenses. Most Costco Optical locations have an Independent Doctor of Optometry (OD) in or near the optical department. Benefit coverage and allowances are the same at Costco as with other Superior Vision eyecare providers.

Superior Vision members are required to have a Costco membership to access materials through the optical department. However, no membership is needed to receive an exam from the optometrist.
