Topcon launches new software solutions division

Topcon's new software solutions division will encompass the company's software products, including EyeRout and Synergy.

Oakland, NJ-Topcon Medical Systems (TMS) has formed a new division within the company that will focus solely on its software product line.

The Topcon Software Solutions (TSS) Division will be headed by Robert J. Orsino, vice president of engineering. It will encompass Topcon’s software products, including EyeRout and Synergy. According to the company, combining service, support, and engineering resources under one division will enable Topcon to enhance its focus on developing and supporting its software product line, and expedite new installations as well as customers' transition from EyeRoute to Synergy.

“The goal of this reorganization is to enhance our customer’s overall support experience while, at the same time, improve our company’s operational efficiency,” said Gene Borbone, senior vice president of operations.
