Essilor releases new Transitions XTRActive lenses for light sensitivity

New portfolio aims to help ODs find the right photochromic lenses to enhance patient experience

Essilor launched Transitions XTRActive, the latest generation of its transitions lens series.

Designed to provide added light protection for people with light sensitivity, Transitions XTRActive delivers a variety of performance enhancements designed to improve the user experience.

The new generation Transitions XTRActive lenses will replace the current generation and are designed to provide a wider variety of features including more comfort to the wearer.

The new line will:

· Consist of a color palate of Gray, Brown, and Graphite Green

· Be available with a wide variety of Essilor designs including Varilux and Eyezen lenses

· Be compatible with Transitions XTRActive style mirrors

· Be made from Plastic 1.50, TREXA Trivex 1.53, Airwear polycarbonate, and Thin & Lite 1.67
