Looking ahead to the digital age

Article

While nothing can replace the feel of a new hardbound book, I have submitted to the electronic reader.

The latest digital event to invade the eye-care world was the first Vision Expo Online, held Nov. 10. Optometrists, opticians, and office personnel packed real-time continuing education (CE) classes. Approximately 150 unique users purchased more than 900 hours of CE courses. The virtual exhibit hall was also crowded; several exhibitors were on hand to answer questions.

In closing, I look forward to seeing all of you at the real-life International Vision Expo East in New York City, March 17-20.
