New dry eye paradigm proposed

90 percent of dry eye has root cause in eyelid function

Donald R. Korb, OD, FAAO, and Amy Nau, OD, FAAO, proposed a new paradim in dry eye during a talk at the Everything Dry Eye Virtual Symposium.

The virtual symposium arose from combining two in-person meetings which were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic: Twin Cities Ocular Surface Disease Symposium, founded by Ahmad Fahmy, OD, FAAO, and Dry Eye Boot Camp, founded by Damon Dierker, OD, FAAO.
