Poll results: Did you purchase new equipment during COVID-19?

Optometry Times® polled our audience with the following question from April 30, 2021 to May 14, 2021:​ Did you purchase new equipment during COVID-19?

The poll appeared on optometrytimes.com and was promoted on various social media channels. Results show a majority of responding ODs purchased a new diagnostic device during COVID-19.

30 ODs responded, in total. Of these:

• 20 reported purchasing a new diagnostic device

• 2 reported purchasing a new therapeutic device

• 1 reported purchasing new software

• 7 reported making no purchases
