Optometry Times® polled our audience with the following question from February 25, 2022 to March 11, 2022:​ What is your big goal for 2022?

The poll appeared on optometrytimes.com and was promoted on social media channels. Results show the biggest goal for a majority of responding ODs is to hire additional staff.

7 ODs responded, in total. Of these:

  • 0 responded "Retire"
  • 0 responded "Add an associate"
  • 0 responded "Add a clinical focus such as dry eye or sports vision"
  • 0 responded "Sell my practice"
  • 3 responded "Grow my patient base"
  • 4 responded "Hire additional staff"
