Poll Results: Which of these did your practice experience in 2020?

Optometry Times® polled our audience with the following question from December 15, 2020 to January 1, 2021:​ ​Which of these did your practice experience in 2020?

The poll appeared on optometrytimes.com and was promoted on various social media channels. Results show COVID-19 affected a majority of responding ODs' practices through furloughs.

21 ODs responded, in total. Of these:

• 2 reported COVID-19 affected staffing, staff resigned

• 11 reported COVID-19 affected staffing, staff was furloughed

• 4 reported COVID-19 affected staffing, staff resigned and was furloughed

• 4 reported COVID-19 did not affect staffing
