Washington, DC- The American Optometric Student Association (AOSA) and OptometryStudents.com produced a video of students and practitioners sharing their perspective on advocacy and the concerns that face the profession.

More than 250 AOSA members traveled to Washington, DC, for the American Optometric Associations’ Congressional Advocacy Conference in Washington, D.C.

AOA produced an additional short video offering a broader perspective on the Congressional Advocacy Conference.

The AOSA’s magazine, Foresight, has coverage of the legislative agenda for the conference, which included lobbying for the National Health Service Corps Improvement Act (HR 920/S1445) and the Optometric Equity in Medicaid Act (HR 855).
