Las Vegas-We want to know why people attend Vision Expo. Right now Vision Expo West is in progress in Las Vegas, but don’t forget spring in New York City with Vision Expo East.

Is it the location, need for CE, networking, or something else?

We asked around, and here’s what we learned.

Duh…Las Vegas and NYC!

Alan David, OD, Kansas City, MO, Via ODwire

Vision Expo is by far the best place when shopping for technology and equipment.

It’s the only place where you can test drive an OCT and walk 20 feet and try out the competitor.

I go to Vision Expo because I love seeing all the new frames and toys. I go to Vision Expo West for my job, and I go to Vision Expo East because I want to.

As a regular Vision Expo East attendee, the show was my major buying trip of the year. My opticians went too. We sought out interesting frames that were not represented in our part of the Midwest.

Networking, technology, and catch up with friends and colleagues.

Very good continuing education, excellent exhibit hall, and a great chance to meet and network with my colleagues.

Vegas is a fun place to visit, not boring like some locales (Cincinnati, Kansas City). Also, it’s near the west coast.

There are lots and lots of classes, a great exhibit hall, and one year I won free Tropical CE.
