After 4 years of operation, IDOC has now rebranded as Optometry Marketing Services, in addition to revamping its portfolio to increase accessibility and resources for independent eye care providers. According to a news release, the company has expanded its team and rebranded in order to meet the needs of its clients.

A part of that expansion has been dedicating a strategist to each of Optometry Marketing Services’ accounts for the purposes of defining and creating marketing priorities and plans of action for each individual optometry practice.1 Currently, 3 digital marketing plans are available, categorized as the following:

  • Impress: Focused on modernizing on a given practice’s website and online presence in the form o f a website redesign and SEO optimization
  • Grow: Aimed in expansion of a practice’s patient base and boost revenue with custom blog posts, Google Ads management, graphic design services, and monthly marketing reports, in addition to a website redesign and SEO optimization
  • Dominate: This plan focuses on the goal of controlling a practice’s local market, which includes both “impress” and “grow” plan features as well as organic social posts and paid Facebook and Instagram ads

Optometry Marketing Services also provides free website audits for practices unsure of which plan to choose. This audit includes a complete overview of the practice’s website and local SEO performance by reviewing search rankings, local listings, online reputation, and on-site SEO and social media performance.1

Ansel Johnson, OD, of Vision Salon Eye Care Associates in Illinois, weighed in on the practice’s utilization of Optometry Marketing Services in the release. “We started using the Google Ads services to enhance our online and social media presence. I was apprehensive at first because I was aware that done incorrectly this can be a costly experiment in marketing. Since we started, our total number of new patients in the practice year to date has increased 48% over the prior year. Our percentage of new patients compared to established has grown 7% which is harder to do for a long-established practice. It has been a game changer for my practice in new patient growth,” he said.

Independent optometric offices interested in utilizing Optometry Marketing Services’ can contact the company’s team here.
