Transitions Optical announces new Transitions Academy 2022 dates

Originally postponed due to COVID-19, the annual event will now be held this June at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida.

The 25th annual Transitions Academy meeting will take place June 1-4, 2022, Transitions Optical announced Thursday.

Originally postponed due to COVID-19, the annual event will now be held at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida.

Industry professionals are invited to attend expert presentations, listen to guest speakers, and participate in Transitions product and professional development workshops, according to a news release. Also featured will be the announcement of the winners for the 2021 Transitions Innovation Awards.

“The last two years have been filled with uncertainty, but we are excited to look ahead at the future of the optical industry together,” said Chrystel Barranger, president of Wholesale EMEA at EssilorLuxottica and president Essilor Photochromics and Transitions Optical, in a statement.
