Video: Movie shows ODs are more than glasses prescribers

Kerry Gelb, OD, wants the public to have a better understanding of what optometrists do. Most people think only of glasses and contact lenses, and he wants them to know that ODs play a much bigger role in public health.

Dr. Gelb highlights the importance of the eye exam and pulls together many healthcare providers to show how “ODs are the new GPs.”
