Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry launches updated website

Enhanced website is now live

The non-profit Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO) launched a newly redesigned website, which compliments its Optometry Gives Me Life campaign’s site. Available at www.optometriceducation.org, the homepage was designed with potential and future students in mind. It features pages for wider audiences as well, including ASCO faculty and administrators, practicing ODs, ODs interested in ASCO’s Career Center, and more.

Attributes of the old site that remain unchanged include the pages on diversity, equity, and inclusion, which will remain easily accessible; along with data and reports, awards, and grants; and ASCO’s corporate contributors program. New to the website is its appeal to wider audiences.

“We are pleased to offer our new website to the public,” says John Flanagan, PhD, DSc(hon), FCOptom, FAAO, ASCO president. “Our enhanced site is instructive and engaging whether you are a student considering optometry as a career or a faculty member looking for professional development opportunities.”
